Rite of Christian initiation of adults

The RCIA, which stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a programme through which non-baptized men and women enter the Catholic Church.  It includes stages marked by study, prayer and rites at Mass. 

Through a process of conversion, these men and women study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church and receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist.

We also welcome those men and women who have already been baptized in other Christian communities and who would like to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church. Catholic adults who, for whatever reason, have missed out on Confirmation are also very welcome.

We are now accepting registrations for our RCIA programme for 2026-2027, starting in October 2026. We will provide you with further details of the programme in September.
