Funerals

Funerals at OLEM take place as part of the 12.15pm Mass on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. To book the Requiem Mass of your loved one, please contact the Parish Office to establish a date by calling 01223 350 787 or emailing olemoffice@rcdea.org.uk

Since the General Instruction of the Roman Missal does not permit a Eulogy during the Mass, we will allow prior to the Mass a few words concerning the deceased to be said. The Mass will begin immediately after.

Once you have agreed a funeral date with the Parish Office, please fill the information form below and submit it to us at your earliest convenience so that OLEM staff and clergy can assist you with honouring your loved one.

Charges

The Church, Travel and Service Fees are due to be paid before the service.

  • Burial or Cremation Service Fee: £28
