Gift Aid Form
Gift Aid is a government scheme which lets us claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. Please complete the Gift Aid form below. This effectively makes your donation worth 25% more!
It does not cost you anything extra to sign up to Gift Aid. This is because as a UK taxpayer you have already paid tax on the money you’re donating. Once we receive your donation, we get the tax you originally paid back from HMRC to top up the donation.
Please notify us if:
You want to cancel this declaration;
You change your name, home address or postcode;
You no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.
Notes:
1. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.
2. You can cancel this declaration at any time by writing to the parish. The Diocese will not reclaim tax on donations made after the date of cancellation.
3. The parish has to record donations to reclaim tax. You can make your donations by Standing Order, cheque or numbered envelope.
4. The Data Protection Act 2018. The Diocese will only use the information supplied by you to reclaim tax from HM Revenue & Customs.
