The Cambridge Churches Homeless Project starts on Monday the 3rd December & operates every evening, until the end of March. The plan is to Host 17 homeless guests each night. This year we will be the Friday evening hosts for the 4 months plus we have the honor of hosting Christmas from Friday the 21st until 26th.

We provide a hot home cooked meal (volunteer cooks), hosts to welcome our homeless guests & night volunteers to provide a safe environment for all . No special skills are required – this is a team event. This is our 6th year & as all roles are filled by volunteers, we are again requesting your support this winter.

Christ said ( Mathew 25:35):

“For I was hungry & you gave me something to eat , I was thirsty & you gave me something to drink , I was a stranger & you invited me in “.

There are strangers in Cambridge this winter & I am appealing for your support. This is the Catholic contribution to this Project. There will be a volunteer evening at OLEM Parish Centre on Friday the 9th November at 20:00. All communication is carried out by email, you choose when you are available & what roles are possible for you. I create a Rota for each Friday plus Christmas & we need your support. The email address is stephen@cchp.org.uk.
