The Community Meeting that was due to take place on Saturday 18 June at 7:15pm has been postponed.
There will be an extended consultation before we move forward with the proposed changes to Mass times.
Although the 10:45 Mass on Sunday will move to 11:00 and the Polish Mass time will also change as planned. The other masses will not now be changing on 1 July.
We apologise for the short notice, especially if you have cleared your diary to attend this meeting. Members of the Community Council for Our Lady and the English Martyrs will be around following the 6:00pm vigil Mass if you wish to speak to them, and also so they may share these developments with anyone who does not hear in advance that the meeting is cancelled.

The bishop has requested that we have an open meeting after the 6pm Saturday Mass to discuss changing the times of Mass and how they feel about the changes. Changes are being done on the bishop’s mandate.

This meeting will happen in the Parish Centre on the 18 June after the 6:00pm Mass, so starting at 7:15pm with tea and coffee and closing with compline in the church at 8:30pm.
This meeting is not just for those who regularly attend the Saturday evening Mass. All are welcome to attend.
The Community Council for Our Lady and the English Martyrs will be meeting on Thursday 21 April 19:30. If there is any business parishioners would like discussed at this meeting, please contact a representative from the Council.
The first open meeting of the Community Council will take place on 28th January at 19:00, after the 18:15 Mass.
Members of the council are keen to meet as many parishioners as possible.
The meeting will be followed by compline and a reception in the rectory.
There being no First Friday breakfast on 1 January, we invite you to spend 20-30 minutes after 10:00 Mass to pray and fast for the climate – Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary in the light of Pope Francis’ letter to the world: Laudato Si’.
